ฮวังจองมิน (Hwang Jung Min) เกิดเมื่อวันที่ 1 กันยายน 1970 เป็นนักแสดงสัญชาติเกาหลีที่เริ่มต้นเส้นทางวงการบันเทิงด้วยการเป็นนักแสดงละครเวทีตั้งแต่วัยรุ่น กระทั่งมีโอกาสได้เดบิวต์ผ่านจอเงินครั้งแรกผ่านผลงานภาพยนตร์เรื่อง General’s Son เมื่อปี 1990 และแจ้งเกิดจากภาพยนตร์ A Good Lawyer’s Wife ในปี 2003 ทำให้เขากลายเป็นที่รู้จักเป็นวงกว้าง ก่อนจะได้มีผลงานซีรีส์เรื่องแรก The Accidental Couple ในปี 2009 และโลดแล่นในวงการภาพยนตร์อย่างต่อเนื่องด้วยทักษะการแสดงที่การันตีด้วยรางวัลมากมาย
