คังดงวอน (Gang Dong Won) เกิดเมื่อวันที่ 18 มกราคม 1981 เป็นนักแสดงสัญชาติเกาหลี เข้าสู่วงการบันเทิงด้วยการเป็นนายแบบก่อนที่จะได้รับโอกาสเดบิวต์ผ่านผลงานการแสดงครั้งแรกในซีรีส์ Country Princess เมื่อปี 2003 และมีผลงานภาพยนตร์เดบิวต์อย่าง Too Beautiful to Lie ในปี 2004 กระทั่งแจ้งเกินจากภาพยนตร์ Temptation of the Wolves (2004) และได้รับความรักจากผู้ชมมากมายด้วยผลงานภาพยนตร์ Maundy Thursday (2006) และ Voice of a Murderer (2007) นอกจากนี้เขายังได้แสดงในภาพยนตร์ฮอลลีวูด Tsunami LA ในปี 2021 อีกด้วย
