โซจีซอบ (So Ji Sub) เกิดเมื่อวันที่ 4 พฤศจิกายน 1977 หลังจากเป็นนักกีฬาว่ายน้ำเยาวชนระดับชาติ เขาเข้าสู่วงการบันเทิงด้วยเส้นทางการเป็นนายแบบแบรนด์เสื้อผ้า กระทั่งมีโอกาสได้ก้าวเข้าสู่เส้นทางนักแสดงโดยมีผลงานเดบิวต์เป็นซีรีส์เรื่อง Model เมื่อปี 1997 ก่อนที่จะได้อวดฝีมือการแสดงผ่านจอเงินด้วยผลงานภาพยนตร์เรื่อง Can’t Live Without Robbery ในปี 2002 เขาได้ท้าทายกับบทบาทที่หลากหลาย และแจ้งเกิดจากซีรีส์ Sorry, I Love You (2004) และประสบความสำเร็จทั้งรายได้และคำวิจารณ์เชิงบวกจากภาพยนตร์เรื่อง Rough Cut (2008) และทำให้คอซีรีส์ทั่วเอเชียตกหลุมรักอย่างถอนตัวไม่ขึ้นจากผลงานซีรีส์ The Master’s Sun (2013)
